Wilson Robb, B.Sc (Hons) – Chairman
An experienced Exploration Geologist with a solid managerial and entrepreneurial background Mr. Robb is a co-founder of and is currently Principal Geologist and Executive Chairman of Aurum. A graduate of the University of Glasgow (1992), Mr. Robb has held technical and managerial positions within the mineral exploration industry. He has a proven track record of developing intuitive exploration programmes and successful identification of new gold and base-metal mineralization.
EurGeol Dr. Mark Holdstock, PGeo - Managing Director
Dr. Holdstock is a Professioanl geologist with degrees from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and the National University of Ireland. He has 25 years of base metal exploration and management experience, from projects in Ireland, Europe, North Africa and Greenland. He has held position with Noranda, Billiton, Outokumpu and Boliden and was the Chief Exploration Geologist responsible for the discovery of the 20Mt "SWEX" orebody at Tara Mines, Ireland. Dr. Holdstock has extensive experience in the application of deep diamond drilling and geophysics in exploration projects.
EurGeol Vaughan Williams, PGeo, MSc - Corporate Secretary
Mr. Williams is a graduate of Liverpool University gained an MSc in Mining Geology at Camborne School of Mines and is a co-founder of Aurum Exploration Ltd. He has over twenty years experience in base and precious metal exploration and mining in Ireland, the UK and Europe and has held senior and managerial positions while working on joint venture projects with Mount Isa Mines (Ireland), Outokumpu Oy (Ireland), Noranda (Ireland), Homestake Mining Corporation (Bulgaria), Navan (Ireland & Spain), Ormonde (Morocco) and recently Tournigan Gold Corporation as Project Manager on the Curraghinalt project (Northern Ireland).

EurGeol Dr. Kerr Anderson, PGeo. - Non-executive Director
A graduate of Glasgow University and holding a PhD from Strathclyde, Dr. Anderson has twenty-two years of technical and managerial experience in international mine and grassroots exploration, working on projects in Ireland, Scotland, The Iberian Peninsula, North Africa and Eastern Europe. Dr. Anderson has project management experience in base metal (Irish-type and volcanogenic massive sulphide) and epithermal gold exploration projects and currently is Managing Director of a publicly quoted exploration and mining company.
EurGeol Dr. Sandy Archibald, PGeo. - Technical Director
Dr. Archibald has over eighteen years of experience in the mineral exploration industry and has participated in academic and industry projects throughout the Americas, Europe and Africa. His background in mineral commodities shows equal diversity, having been involved in gold, base-metal, uranium, diamond, and nickel exploration. Dr. Archibald holds a Ph.D. degree in Economic Geology from McGill University, where his research focused on Au-Ag metal-rich geothermal systems. He is a Director of AIM-listed Alba Mineral Resources, and is a past-President of the Irish Association of Economic Geology, and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geology.
Ian Farrelly, B.Sc, Dip. Stat. – Non-executive Director
A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Mr. Farrelly is a skilled project geologist/manager with extensive experience in both grass roots and mining environments. He is an experienced computing geologist specialising in the application of GIS computer technology and resource estimations. Mr, Farrelly has worked on various base metal and shear hosted gold projects in Ireland and North America, primarily with Noranda and Anglo American.
Raymond Keenan. Non-executive Director
Aurum’s Chief Geological technician, Mr. Keenan is one of Ireland's foremost prospectors with 22 years experience in gold and base metal prospecting in Scotland, Ireland and Bulgaria. He is highly respected throughout the Irish mineral exploration industry and is experienced in all aspects of geological geochemical and geophysical surveying.
